Magpie
The Magpie and the rest of its family are fond of bright objects. It has been observed that they cut up their food in correctly sized proportions. In captivity magpies have been observed counting up to get food, imitating human voices, and regularly using tools to clean their own cages. In the wild, they organize themselves into gangs when confronted by predators.
Bought this record on a whim. (And because I can’t resist this kind of cover.) Carl Sagan and I will listen to it and clean off my desk to prepare for a sewing extravaganza.
